Nayantara Nanda Kumar is the Founder Director of Our Sacred Space in Secunderabad, established in 2012. With 14 years of environmental engineering experience in the United States, she actively combines her passion for dance with social causes. Nayantara has performed at various fundraisers, advocating for causes such as nonviolence, education, healthcare, and human rights.
At Our Sacred Space (OSS) , she cultivates sustainable practices, offering diverse classes in dance, music, yoga, art, nutrition, and more. The center supports personal growth, social action, and environmental consciousness. Moreover, it hosts a farmers’ and artisans’ market, promoting ecologically friendly livelihoods and fostering community connections.
The rural center, The Telangana Heritage Center in Dharur, Vikarabad District, established in 2017, focuses on restoring ecological balance, preserving local practices, and creating sustainable livelihoods while supporting the local community's needs and aspirations.
