ARANYA AGRICULTURAL ALTERNATIVES

Aranya Agricultural Alternatives is an NGO founded in 1999 by Narsanna and Padma Koppula to bring good natural resource management and sustainable agriculture to farming communities across Telangana and Andra Pradesh, India. Aranya also conducts Permaculture Design Courses and facilitates internships in permaculture.

Aranya Agricultural Alternatives will host the first National Permaculture Convergence in Hyderabad, India in 2016. In addition, in November, 2017 Aranya will host the 13th International Permaculture Convergence, also in Hyderabad. The theme for both convergences will be “Towards Healthy Societies” and will highlight the essential role women play as agents of change.
