Madhu Reddy has been redesigning her monoculture peri-urban family farm near Hyderabad to make it sustainable ecologically and economically. A large part of her work includes facilitating information about regeneration, organic farming, sustainability and educating her customers about the same.
As part of “Teaching Where it Matters” a registered non-profit to make Permaculture education accessible, she has taught numerous Permaculture courses from a 1-day intro to 16 days PDCs, a Permaculture Teachers Training with diverse communities and ecosystems. She also co-designed, developed, and facilitated a “Diploma in Permaculture-Designer & Educator Program” for a Non-Profit partner working on Women’s rights and livelihoods in Nagaland.
Madhu also brings to the table her management and organizational skills from her past corporate experience in 3 different continents. An earnest sharer of information, she moderates an online forum “Seed to Soil - back to basics” which discusses all things permaculture to ensure knowledge is crowdsourced and spread.
