MENTORS OF PERMACULTURE IN INDIA INCLUDE

Bill Mollison:

An Australian researcher, author, scientist, teacher, and biologist. In 1978, he co-authored 'Permaculture One: A Perennial Agriculture For Human Settlements' with David Holmgren, thus, co-originating the concept of permaculture. He authored many other books on the subject of permaculture including 'Permaculture: A Design Manual' and is influential throughout the Permaculture world.

David Holmgren:

With his mentor Bill Mollison, Mr. Holmgren wrote the first comprehensive guide to Permaculture and co-originated the practice of Permaculture. He went on to write many other books including 'Permaculture: Principles & Pathways Beyond Sustainability' and is a well respected design consultant and teacher.

Dr. Venkat:

(1923-2011) India's Permaculture pioneer. He utilized the Permaculture teachings of Bill Mollison and traditional Indian practices to create Permaculture concepts tailored to the Indian subcontinent.

Robyn Francis:

An international Permaculture pioneer, Ms.Francis founded Djanbung Gardens, a Permaculture training center, in New South Wales, Australia.

Rosemary Morrow:

With a background in agricultural science, horticulture, international development, and adult education, Ms. Morrow has travelled the world as a Permaculture teacher and trainer often in war-torn regions. She is the author of 'Earth User's Guide to Permaculture'.

Tony Anderson:

A Danish Permaculture teacher and architect, one of the first to apply Permaculture principles to urban architecture. He is active in the international Permaculture movement's plan to fight climate change by planting trees and developing soils.
